Kate Hansen Bundt, General Secretary, The Norwegian Atlantic Committee

Kate Hansen Bundt has been Secretary General of the Norwegian Atlantic Committee since 2010. She is a political scientist and foreign policy analyst with particular interest in German, European and transatlantic security and strategy. She is chair of the board at NUPI (Norwegian Institute of International Affairs), a board member of NOREF (Norwegian Centre for Conflict Resolution), member of the CSIS Stuart Center Advisory Council and a member of the council at Fridtjof Nansen Institute (FNI) in Oslo.

Jarand Rystad, CEO, Rystad Energy

Jarand Rystad founded Rystad Energy in 2004 and has, since its inception, managed the company. Jarand has extensive experience in the energy strategy advisory business and his areas of expertise include energy system analysis, energy scenarios, renewables, supply chains, emissions, asset and company valuations and transactions, macro analysis, and all aspects of the energy transition. As an established thought leader in these and other fields, Jarand is a frequent keynote speaker at international conferences related to energy.

Sophie Bruusgaard Jewett, CEO, MoreScope

Sophie Bruusgaard Jewett holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and earth system sciences from Montreal, Canada. She also earned a master’s degree in environmental policy from the London School of Economics. Prior to her current role, she worked as a consultant for the United Nations in New York and Geneva. She was also part of the sustainability team at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

🗞️Keynote

Dr. Martin Sandbu, Commentator at the Financial Times

Dr. Martin Sandbu is the European Economics Commentator at the Financial Times.  He writes on a range of international affairs drawing insight from the intersection of economics, politics and ethics. He is the writer of the FT’s weekly newsletter ‘Free Lunch’, an email briefing on the main economic issues of the day, and also contributes longer feature pieces for the newspaper. Prior to his current role, Martin was Economics Lead Writer at the Financial Times and therefore shaped much of the FT’s editorial line. During this time, he held a particular responsibility for international economic policy questions such as that of the eurozone sovereign debt crisis and the remaking of global financial regulation.
