Otovo is a Norwegian solar energy company offering homeowners tailor-made price solutions for roof-mounted solar panels. The company has developed a unique market platform with hundreds of installation companies who algorithmically bid for the projects generated. The platform connects customers with installers in a fast and efficient way, making it easy for private households to produce short-traveled and renewable energy on their own roof. 

Otovo was founded in 2016, and during its first year, the company became market-leading in sales of solar panels to the private market in Norway. Since then, Otovo has grown to become the leading marketplace for solar panels in Europe, having sold and completed over 30,000 solar energy projects across the continent. 

Otovo has created a solution that enables the acceleration of decentralized local solar power production in many countries. By shortening the link between private customers and installers, their marketplace platform enables large-scale rollout of private solar systems, which in turn helps accelerate the shift towards more distributed solar energy and a sustainable economy. 

Otovo’s goal is to become the preferred solar cell dealer in Europe.
