John Egil Johannessen has long and broad experience with investments in growth companies with a special focus on innovative tech solutions in the energy sector. He joined Nysnø Climate investments in 2019. At Nysnø, John Egil primarily works with direct investments aimed at the agricultural sector, the mobility field, and front-end material technology. He also holds several board positions in Nysnø’s portfolio companies. John Egil has 12+ years of experience as a venture capital professional from Equinor Technology Ventures. He had a special focus on software and digital models, which is of great value for Nysnø when searching for new growth companies in the climate fields. Prior to this, John Egil worked in various IT functions in Accenture and Equinor. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a BA(Hons) in Marketing.
